Today I decided to blog about my journey with loosing weight. I've been overweight all my life. I was a chubby kid and an overweight teenager. Last year I decided to do something about it. I thought I was serious but apparently I wasn't. Since last year I have lost 25 lbs. That is just unacceptable! I know what I need to do to lose weight but I refuse to do it. I love to snack, I snack when I'm bored, happy, sad and busy so I'm not an emotional eater. I just love to snack. I love salty and crunchy things, potato chips are my weakness.
So, today 8/8, I'm going to blog about my weight loss journey. It seems to work for others so maybe it will work for me.
Today's weigh: 252. 8
Breakfast:
2 slices of multi-grain toast
1 fried egg (cooked in olive oil spray)
3 strips of bacon (I love bacon, I know I should have Turkey bacon)
12 oz. black coffee
2 tbsp of half and half
1 tbsp raw sugar
1 tbsp of condensed milk (this stuff is delicious)
Lunch:
Salad bar
1/2 cup brown rice
1 cup of steam shrimp
2 very tiny fried shrimp
1 vegetable tempura patty
1 oz of roasted turkey
1/4 cup of wild rice with beans, dried cranberries and nuts
1/4 cup steamed zucchini and squash
1 roasted carrot
10 oz cup of diet Mountain Dew
Snack:
7 almonds
1 banana
Dinner:
1/2 pita bread with herb
2 oz grilled chicken breast
1 oz Asiago cheese
14 oz Smoothie with fiber and fat burners from the gym's smoothie bar
Workout:
1 hour boot camp class
1 hour turbo kick class
